6 times Ladies European Tour winner Florence Descampe becomes World Amateur Tour ambassador
Former player of the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour, Florence will be leading the exclusive amateur competition for Belgium
Descampe had 7 worldwide victories during her career including a win at the 1992 Mc Call’s LPGA Classic on the LPGA Tour. Up to 2005 Evian Masters she held the record as the LET’s youngest winner after clinching the 1988 Danish Ladies Open. Starting end of May, she will be the ambassador of the World Amateur Tour in Belgium. She will be in charge of Belgium players during the Tour sharing her best advice and experience as a professional golfer in order to help them reach their best level.
Now in its third year, the World Amateur Tour, a 36 holes tournament organized to the same standards as the biggest international professional competitions offering amateur players the unique experience of the pressure and adrenaline of a professional tournament is thrilled to have such an amazing player among its ambassadors.

The 2017 Tour consists of six tournaments to be played on some of the most beautiful and exclusive courses in the world. The next legs will be played at the Trump Turnberry Golf Club in Scotland (22nd to 25th June 2017), K Club and Portmarnock Golf Club in Ireland (18th to 21th September 2017) , Valderrama and Sotogrande Golf Clubs in Spain (26th to 29th October 2017) and for the final, Dubai Creek and Emirates Golf Club in Dubai 26th to 29th November 2017).
